Who is Reserved actually for?
Riders who already know what a Colombici journey is, first-timers and returning riders both, who want the most complete version of it. Same route, same standard the whole company is built on, just with Maya and Pan leading it in person and a fuller support team on the ground.
How is this different from a scheduled group departure?
Same route and itinerary as the standard departure. What changes is who's running it and what's on hand: Maya and Pan lead it themselves, the group stays small, and the support team steps up to a 2:1 ratio that includes a soigneur, a masseuse, and dedicated media coverage of the trip.
How is Reserved different from a Private tour?
Different trade-off, not a better or worse one. Private is fully custom, one to eight riders, any dates you choose, built around your schedule. Reserved runs on a small number of fixed dates a year, eight to ten riders, the same route as the standard departure, with Maya and Pan personally leading it. Private gives you the dates. Reserved gives you the founders.
How many riders join a Reserved departure?
Eight to ten riders, fixed dates, no exceptions either direction. That cap is what makes the 2:1 support ratio and the founders' personal attention possible in the first place.
What does the media coverage actually include?
A dedicated media presence documents the trip as it happens. Details are confirmed at inquiry.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as a date is announced. Reserved runs a few times a year, seats are capped at eight to ten, and once they're gone the departure doesn't reopen or add a second group.
