Three days of riding on Bogotá's high plateau. The Sabana de Bogotá wakes at 2,650 m (8,700 ft) and climbs into páramo above 3,360 m. Reservoir roads wind through farmland. Open plateau roads reveal the full Eastern Cordillera on every horizon. Pine forests give way to high-altitude savanna. These are the routes the locals ride on weekday mornings, recognized within the capital, barely known beyond it.
