Samaca, Boyaca

Getting motor-paced by a local!


Stage 1:
Bogotá – Villa de Leyva (138km / 1600m↑)

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and transport you outside the city to start the ride. The route includes rolling hills with a few categorized climbs, but nothing too challenging.

You will enjoy the stunning scenery that changes from green grassy hills to earthy deserted valleys, reminiscent of Tenerife or Lanzarote in Gran Canaria. Just be prepared for some cobbles as we enter Villa de Leyva.

Raquira, Boyaca

Stage 2:
Villa de Leyva -> Raquirá -> Villa de Leyva (47km / 520m↑)

We'll be doing an out-and-back loop today, exploring more of Boyacá. We'll visit Raquirá, known for its pottery and handicrafts The route is mostly flat, with a handful of punchy climbs to spice things up.

Stage 3:
Villa de Leyva – Bogotá (140km / 2000m↑)

The final stage shares the same route as the first but with more climbs to tackle! You'll ride through small local roads and undulating terrain until reaching the main highway that takes you back to Bogotá.

The journey back is just as amazing as the first, so make sure to enjoy the stunning views.
